About Me

I grew up in Florida as a 4th generation entrepreneur, watching my father build a business from the ground up like my grandfather and great grandfather before him. This taught me the value of self-reliance, independence, and pursuing lofty goals. Following in their footsteps, I left home at age 13 to pursue a hockey career at the highest levels, playing across the country and the world for USA National Teams, and ultimately in the North American Hockey League in a small Minnesota town. Unfortunately, a serious injury derailed my dream of playing Division 1 and professional hockey.

I then earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Chicago. Along the way I’ve worked for a small business in Florida that distributed chocolate, an investment company in Tel Aviv, and a large international bank selling derivatives on Wall Street. In short, I spent the early part of my career selling to and making complex deals with demanding clients in finance and in small businesses.

After a traumatic and life changing incident, I decided to pivot to pursue entrepreneurship and the small business ownership that has always been in my blood. I realized that I needed formal and on-the-job business training, so I earned an MBA at the University of Virginia and worked at one of the largest powerline repair, maintenance, and construction firms. At that firm I worked with linemen and truck drivers to make operational improvements, led teams to build an internal commercial driving school from the ground up, and worked with senior management to build financial models and business plans.

With the experience gained across my career, backing of a strong investor group, and the support of my wife, I look forward to following in my family’s footsteps by running a company. If you are considering selling your business, I would love to speak with you.

Outside of work I enjoy Ironman triathlons, shooting, and fishing. I am excited about this new chapter of my life and I look forward to moving to and joining a new community.
